The last month has been a pretty big one at our office here in London with additional functionality being added to the site, thanks to our users feedback. We have been working on a variety of areas and we hope you like them!
Saving Wall Search.
With lots of kids using our Saver Wall to show off the things they are saving for, we wanted a way for users to be able to quickly search these, along with existing shop products. Well, they now can. We have now integrated these – which means kids can compare prices and reviews items across the whole shop, whether it is something our editorial team has uploaded or something kids have added themselves. You can check it out for yourself over on the Saving Wall >
The Roosterbank App.
The App is currently getting some very nifty additions at the moment. We hope to release this to the Appstore in the next couple of weeks and if you are an iOS Roosterbank App user, then you should get a notification when we do. There will be additional notifications to help you keep track and the ability to add photos of your kids to your account to make it easier to keep track. With safety in mind these images will of course only be visible to you as the parent. We will release a full run down of the app once it has gone live.
As many parents as you like.
I better qualify this one. Up until now, as a parent you have only been able to add one other parent or guardian as a manager of an account (this is a premium account function). Now we know that there are plenty of families with Roosterbank who have grandparents and other guardians helping out with the kids every day. You can now add as many parents/guardians to an account as you like if you have Family Premium. Which means if the kids are out with gran and grandad they can still keep the kids in their pocket money routine and if they want to treat them to some extra pocket money, they can do that too simply by boosting from their app!
If you have ideas on how we can improve Roosterbank, do head over to our Forum and add your idea!
