How Roosterbank Works

 A Step by Step Guide…

Roosterbank Pocket Money Dashboard

1. The Pocket Money Dashboard

Children have their own personalised dashboard where they can keep track of their pocket money. The Dashboard lets them choose what they want to do with their money, whether that is using their Wallet to get things they want to buy or their Safe, to put some money aside for the future. The more they save in their Safe, the more we reward them with Roostie Interest and trophies.

2. The Rooster Shop

If children want to save for things online, they can choose from thousands of products in the Rooster Shop, including the latest games, books, DVDs and Crazes. Once they have saved enough, they can send it through for their parent to review and order.

3. Play Games, read reviews and learn about money matters.

In addition to the pocket money features, children can create an online profile and get access to online communities.

The Rooster Village is a safe environment designed to help them learn how to manage a currency and save carefully.

For children aged 8 and up,  The RB offers a community where they can write instructive reviews of products they might want to save for. There are also competitions and other savings advice helping prepare them for their own bank account one day

4. The Parent Area

Parents have their own Dashboard too. Here they can:

  • Manage all their kid’s accounts.
  • Set weekly pocket money.
  • Boost or remove pocket money. on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Review and checkout items. their kids save up for.
