Getting Kids to spend responsibly
While we carefully curate everything that goes into the Rooster Shop, we want to encourage kids to actively consider why something is worth the pocket money. This means that when they are out and about they will be able to apply the same approach – asking themselves whether the magazine, toy or ticket is worth it and why do they want it?
The Roosterbank Top 5
Roosterbank has been producing the Top Five for several months now. The Top 5 gives children an indication of what the most popular products are with other Roosterbank users and why. This list is based on the most saved for items in children’s Saver Baskets.
We also provide reviews of products in our online magazine for children, The RB. Here kids can read, review and comment on some of the latest releases.
And now Rooster Ratings!
Combining both the Reviews and Top Five, we are now rolling out Rooster Ratings for the most popular products in the shop. Children can check these out both in The RB and on product pages in the shop, with links through to associated reviews. Ultimately its up to kids to make the decision about what to buy (and discuss it with their parent when they send it through to their parent for approval) but the Rooster Rating should give them some help making that decision!
