My Money Week happens every year and last year helped 1.3 million young people learn important money lessons!
PFEG (The Personal Finance Group), have packed out their My Money Week website with brilliant resources for parents and teachers to make the most of giving children a head start with personal finance – the site is brillant so do check it out. The theme of this year’s Money Week is to get young people engaging critically with personal finance issues through activities based on current affairs. They will be adding a new activity each day to keep things fresh!
Although the Pfeg site is full of resources, you can check out some financial education focused videos on truetube and for teachers, tes.co.uk has a wealth of support materials which are tried and tested, these include easy to follow lesson plans.
Roosterbank has it’s own learning zone designed to help children get on top of money and they can play games and take part in activities over on The RB .
