Whilst the UK has been enjoing some very warm weather, the Roosterbank team have been ploughing through many an ice lolly in the name of research! Here’s our list of what we believe to be the best ice lollies of all time…

Launched in 1982, the Twister encompasses the best of both worlds, combining pineapple ice cream and lemon and lime lolly. If that wasn’t enough, wait until you get to the strawberry centre. A champion of the ice lolly world. 9/10
The nations No1 selling ice lolly, the FAB is descirbed as a ’3-in-1 fun lolly’ and has been around for 45 years. With a vanilla and strawberry lolly, coated in chocolate and sprinkles, the FAB is perfect for all occassions. There is a reason why it’s the nations favourite. 10/10 – this is a clearly the best ice lolly!
A classic stick lolly, consisting of vanailla ice cream coated with a range of exotic fruit sorbets. The Solero is a sophisticated lolly, packing real fruit juices. Also known as a Splice to Australians. Tasty, but not that exciting. 7/10
A stickless, push up lolly that comes in many flavours. The most common are orange, strawberry and tropical fruit. A perfect choice for the hottest of days, it’s great when it melts and leaves you with a slightly intense juicy hit to finish. Great on the beach. 8/10
The Magnum is a favourite amongst chocolate lovers, offering a rich and flavoursome expeience. There is also a great crunching sound when you bite into it. However, at its core the Magnum is just a posh choc ice. 7/10
