Our friend Andy Robertson, aka Geek Dad has been testing a brand new magazine with his family, it’s all about age appropriate gaming for children and their parents, something we think is really important. Andy sent us over a bit of info to share with you:
110% Gaming is a new magazine about video-games launching tomorrow aimed solely at children (and their parents).
The magazine keeps games as the central focus, rather than other titles like Toxic that feature games amongst other topics. This gives more spec for on-going tips, previews and reviews along with other more novelty content around the world of gaming.
Parents will appreciate that the magazine only focuses on games that are age-appropriate to its 8-12 year old audience, and provides lots of suggestions for games that work well in families.
For kids there are puzzles, cover mounted exclusives and a whole host of exclusive information on Lego Batman 3, Minecraft, Skylanders and Disney Infinity (amongst other titles).
Provided the magazine can match the printed content with a strong online offering it looks set to take the young gaming audience by storm, just in time for Christmas.
